Not exactly the sort of table tennis we're interested in on this forum, I must admit... this looks more like Hipster Pong.

Some of those T-shirts are nice, though. So evolution involves a progression through billiards to table tennis?

Thank you for the information iskandar and also i agree with you in what you say

Looks like the shop focuses on the market segment which will also embrace "Table Tennis X", ITTF's initiative to increase TT visibility (getting basement players "out of the closet", as it were).

The intro video gives some ideas for marketing TT locally, doing a "guerilla pong" campaign. I think this kind of small scale, one-off thing is a better idea than trying to market TTX as a new branch of the sport.

The product selection is limited, and I'd say it targets mostly basement players who want to "cross over". Some points that makes me steer clear of the shop:

• The majority of T-shirts are shown in white/yellow, and playing in those colors is generally frowned upon.
• "Beginner model" ping pong sneaker, seriously?
• The Stiga "Pure color" (not ITTF-approved, but good for the players who are not interested in official competition) seems rather expensive. (About twice the regular price in our local sports shop, and members of our club get an additional 25% discount there.) Haven't compared prices on other items, but a quick glance suggests to me that pricing is not very competitive.
• A "Clotiman" racket with what looks like an ittf logo on the rubber. As far as I can tell, the rubber is also marked "Clotiman". Can't see that brand in the latest LARC (though it may of course appear in the upcoming list for this year).
• Video on the front page autostarts with audio on (and annoying "music" with steadily increasing volume). To me this is a big NO for web page design.

To me this looks more like something the shop manager would post to promote his own shop, not something a potential customer would register on a forum to ask about.
No offense intended towards you, lee, just a general observation based on the points I listed above. We are all individuals and our focuses are our own. If you were getting to know us and planning to register anyway, one post would have to be the first.

Looks like a sampling of stuff you find on AliExpress from some of the more questionable sellers. Note the text copy-and-pasted off AliExpress: "Baseboard Layer Number: 9". "Long Handle" "Short Handle". A lot of the off-brand rubbers (e.g. Timo Boll Warheads) have fake ITTF stamps and numbers, like this one (006-008?? ). The sponge looks suspiciously thick (if you're going to make off-brand rubber that outperforms even real Tensors, how would you do it? Add 1mm to the rubber thickness! ).





I wonder if those Hurricane Long V blades are the real thing - they're selling for $60 here, Eacheng's price is $200. And as you know, it's one of the more commonly counterfeited blades. The C-3 blade is probably genuine, but the price is more than double of what Eacheng wants (including shipping).
