hi martin,

Happy to hear from you.

Few questions for the blade test: I never pay to much attention on the carateristics of a blade. Can you define so I understand better the différents forums refering to blade.

Hard

Soft

Stiff

elastic

Flexible

Also, I have problem to understand when I read a hrd blade that is flexible ???

What is the right blade for a good reversal ?

What is the right blade for a good control ?

What is the right blade for the best speed ?

Thanks !!!

Hey maddrag

The difference between hard and soft woods is at the touch, which generates a higher or a lower tone. The frequencies of the fundamental frequency range from 800 Hz to 2000 Hz. Elastic or stiff woods differ in the bending strength. Elastic wood cushion the incoming energy and stiff woods give the energy back with the least possible loss. Soft woods and little grippy coverings harmonize well and reverses harmonize grippy coverings with hard woods. The resiliency of the wood has a connection to the hardness of the sponge. Elastic woods need more harder or less sponge and stiff woods need a smoother or much sponge. Ultimately, there is no rule, because the feeling of the player decides whether a combination fits or not.

Hey Marc

Resiliency means something like flexural strength. I don't know the correct terms. Apt grip means the grip of the pimple rubber that is suitable for the wood.

Can you give me exemple of flexural strength or reciliency ?

The number for the grip are the number you give to the grip in the pimples Survey ?

also,

If I understand well, there is flex and stiff wood and soft and hard wood. Some stiff ( not flexible)wood can be also soft like the euro-chopper.

Am I right ?

resilience of a material:

The ability to go back to its original form after being hit, distorsion, etc.

victas has now 3 Koji Matsushitas defensive blade. The known one is the Koji Matsushitas. They made 2 other blade in that defensive blade séries last year I think. It is the Koji Matsushitas defense ( slower) and the Koji Matsushitas offensive. (faster).
