I play with Hallmark Ultra (oversize attacking) blade, Yasaka Xtend on FH, and (at the moment) Hallmark Frustration 0x on the BH. Occasionally twiddle, not often. Use the pimples mostly to set up the FH.
thanks!

How do you assess the speed and hardness of the wood?

Spinlord Zeitgeist OX is perfect for your style and blade. I would prefer CTT Pogo and D.TecS with thin spong on your blade. Frustration is not a good choice because it's to less grippy and the throw tends to be too flat. Pogo is perfect for an allround game at mid-distance and D.TecS has it strength at long-distance. Zeitgeist is the only rubber who fits to your blade and near to table style with aggressive pushes and blocks.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for this impressive work.
In last column, when you indicate STOR should it be understood as DIS?

Thanks,

Gael

I measured the grip like on the following picture. I increased the angle an stopped when the plate began to move. I made this procedure with two weigth (250 g / 1000 g) and found out, that there can be a big difference between the gip of the surface (lower weigth) and the grip of the necks (higher weigth). I caculated the average of the two measurements.

This reminds me of the devices invented by Leonardo da Vinci for measuring friction coefficient.

Martin
I play with an Eleven up touch combi light blade, would Armstrong Ext Ox or Tibhar DTecs Ox be good on the slower backhand side of that blade.
Thanks Bazzer for the Uk

Hi Bazzer

How hard (1-5) and fast (1-5) is the slower backhand side?

I've updated the list with some discoveries like the NEOTTEC Tokkan, METEOR 845 and METEOR 575. I've bought the Meteor pimples at Eacheng. The two rubbers are of the best I've ever tested. 575 is perfect for an active close to table style and the 845 is a great rubber for chopping at long and mid-distance. The Tokkan is also a great rubber for an active close to tabel game and a very consistent pimples.

Eacheng lists METEOR 845 and METEOR 575 as short pips.. is that accurate? I tested Meteor 71-2 some time ago which Eacheng listed as an MP but it looked and played like an LP. And where does one find NEOTTEC Tokkan?

Finally, have you tested Giant Dragon Talon yet?

Vista Sport, a russian seller, offered me two covergings for testings. Sergej Petrov is the manager of the company and has good relationships to DHS. I know nothing about Neottec but the Tokkan is a great rubber for an offensiv game close to tabel and the rubber has also good option at mid-distance.

Meteor has many LP that are listed as OUT. Aspect Ratio of 575 is 0.9 (1,4/1,6) and AR of 845 is 1.1 (1.6/1,5).

Hi Martin,

I´ve been playing for 4 years or so now, and I´ve decided to give it a GOOD try the LP world.
I have a Hallmark Aurora, with DHS Memo 3 on the FH (the Off Side) and Hallmark Phoenix OX on the BH (Def Side)

This was previously my recreation setup, since I play a 2 winged style, withe a liking in blocks and counters.
Since I "dominate" inverted rubbers on both sides, I twiddle a lot, using both inverted in BH and Pimple on FH (even though it´s difficult to use :P)

Reading your thread, I came to the conclusion that you are the messiah :P
Great job, very professional and clear ;)

I would like you to recommend me what LP (with or without sponge) should I use, If I want it to use it on the DEF side of my Aurora, considering that:
- LP has to be red
- I play close to the table, occasionally I can chop from mid distance
- I twiddle a lot
- I would like an LP that can chop, chop-block and block over the table, and also attack

From what I read, the Palio CK531A could be the one Im looking for, what do you think?

Thanks in advance,
Cheers :D

SOLD! It´s exactly what I´ve asked :D
In Eacheng they are selling it, with o without sponge, should I buy directly the OX version or one with sponge and then take it out?

Thx again :D
