OOAK Table Tennis Forum

What name of a lp would scare your opponent the most? I mean, is there a name of an existing lp that would make your opponent want to leave walk over when you show your bat? Dr Evil is a very good name (not a lp though). Are there any better? What would you name the most evil lp? ”Compleately Frictionless” perhaps ?

a sheet of LP so worn you can't even tell what the name is...

Other than that TSP Curl seems to have a pretty good 'effect' on people. If I'd get to name an LP I'd definitely go for 'Houdini' or 'Butterfingers'.

Intermediate player from Tucson here. I always thought 'flubber' would be a great moniker for a d.tecs ox like rubber...

Didn't we do something like this before? I think Bamboozle(r) was my favorite.

You could put the new "Manilow" rubber on one side and the "Bolton" rubber on the other and hum show tunes while playing. That would certainly scare me!

I think if you had a rubber that when an opponent requested to look at it said:

"Gonna F U UpUpUp"

that might be a little scary

K guys how about this...(drumroll)...ReDead! am i good or what? no seriously guys, the legend of zelda redeads seriously freak me out. or how about this: frition frustration, because even though we cant use FLPs there are still rubbers that preform a bit like them but they are legal. long live the PBers!

Many great names here, hopefully some manufacturers will take a look here and rename their lp's.

Killerspin is a great name for a company, I think they should produce a lp called Spinkiller

The word dizzy or something could be used in addition to spin (there was an old computer game called SpinDizzy for my old Spectrum 48K I remember ).

Otherwise I think DreadRazor had a good suggestion, a completely blank area where the name usually is, no clue what so ever what the name is or what to expect from the lp
