Have good control. For the rival are difficult at attack. Trajectories unusual

Any reviews on how it plays yet.. I got a review from someone who tried it and he compared it to DtecS.. Not sure if this is a accurate reflection of the properties.. Anyways, I ordered a red and a black sheet in OX to try it myself.. However, I'd still like to hear from anyone here who has tried it to get some idea of what to expect.

I have it on a Firewall+ Blade. And Im keeping it there ;)

Image

Extremly long distance between the pips as you can see on the picture.

Pretty THIN pimples.

Compared to Dtecs its slower and have more control.

VERY UNsensitive to incomming spin.
VERY Easy to attack with.
Not so good in CHOPS, can't put much spin in the ball.
Medium hard pips.
VERY good in pushes.
Keeps the ball low at all strokes.
NOT much distortion in any stroke.
VERY easy to block incomming loops or smashes, without doing a whole lot with the angle of the bat.

Well it's the best LP rubber for me, suits me perfectly for my aggressive style.

Other LP's that have been good at attacking with have been to fast for me.

Just my 5 cents ;)

You seem happy with it, do you use in ox?

Is it slower than GDTalon or CCircles in defensive mode?

It looks fast enough in attack too, is it easy to manipulate the spin for reversal in attack or on blocking?

Yes I use OX only, every time I have tried sponge I tell myself "WHY", since most of the properties that is good for PIPS goes out the drain with sponge underneth. And actually I can hit better with OX.

ITs slower than GDTalon and CropCircles, and its a very much different feel cause of the WIDE spread of the PIPS. I dont think I have seen so much distance between the PIPS as it is on the STERNENFALL. It seems to me the longer the distance the more I like the PIP ;)

There is not much reversal in blocking if you ask me, so you need to place the ball and sideswipe and so on to be very dangerous.

BUT "attacking light" by going OVER the ball when recieving a top spin/sidespin serve or stroke/loop is VERY effektive and EASY to do, and the ball seems to die and wobble and your opponent sends it into the net ;)

Now it is considered nasty taste to compare everything with D Tex.
It absolutely others pips.
Absolutely for other game. You don't play such game.

I usually play well with any rubbers with low trajectory as I block off the bounce.. I think that it'll work fine for me.. We will see, probably this Thursday when I'll probably use it for the first time.
