Looks like this is available at ttdd.de:

Here is their description:

The Giant Dragon Snowflake is based on the Dragon Talon. We believe that the rubber compound is the same (very soft) and the same type of rippled heads of the pips is definitely there. However, the pips are much thinner and the distance between them is less. This pip is more elastic and a little bit more dangerous (more disruptive than the "10" Giant Dragon gives it). The speed differs very little from the Dragon Talon, however the control is slightly more difficult.

Optimally, the Snowflake is suited for a variable defensive game with a mixture of chop defense, blocking and attacking.

Conclusion: Those who find the Dragon Talon to be good should try this pip. However, it is also true that this is pip is not extremely innovative and cannot quite match the SpinLord Dornenglanz.

Speed: 5
Control: 3.5
Disruption: 10

Regarding sponges, ttdd.de is offering Snowflake in OX, .5 and .9 sponges. The .5 version is shipped with a standard medium hard Chinese sponge and the .9 version is shipped with a dampening sponge.

These are also the same sponge configurations they ship the Dragon Talon with.

I hate you. I just swore to myself that I would stick with Dragon Talon for the foreseeable future and now you post this...any decent reviews yet?

I find the Talon to be plenty disturbing to my opponents, while still giving me very good control. I don't think I'd want to give up some control for more disturbing properties.

Sounds like a great new pip! I wonder how much reversal it has when compared to the Talon. :)

Nice timing. Just today my Crop Circles 1.2 arrived from ZTT. Sponge doesn't look to be the same dampening sponge that came on Talon 0.9, but that's just based on visual inspection. Will get to test its play tomorrow.

Seems the consensus opinion from noppen-test on Snowflake is that it, in fact, has slightly less disruptive effect than Dragon Talon with slightly more control.
