Nathanso, for a long time, the durability of 755 pips were terrible, last me only 3 to 4 days; however, these days, every sheet of my 755 OX (I use red on all my LP) lasted at least 6 months and I play a lot and I hit a lot and I hit hard.

The pips of Stranger look smaller and the base sheet thinner, when compared to 755. Someday, I will put it on Double Diamond for comparison, but for now, 755 OX on DD is my preferred weapon during matches. And I still have more than 6 sheets in the drawer, plus 6 sheets of unopened Long A. :(

Oh, I did played with Stranger 1.2, don't know whether it was attack or not, James (he met both you and Charlie in your club and own more than 6 BBC blades) let me tried his a week ago. It attacks well on all slower balls but so did 755 OX. :)

James, if you read this, identify yourself and tell Nathanso your Stranger LP experience with me in the club.

Stranger 1.2 is Attack. Regular Stranger only comes in 0.5 and 0.8 (and OX).

I wonder if Zeropong's 0.5 and 0.8 have this packaging.. Image

..or this one:

Eacheng.net shows only the blue one to be Stranger Attack 1.2. Eacheng.net lists the black/red one as regular Stranger with 0.5 and 0.8 options, and you can even make out the 0.8 label on the above image.

Its definitely listed under the ATTACK version with the ATTACK picture. I sent them an email to try to confirm that.

BTW, there is someone here (looper1984) that already tried it from them and spoecifically mentioned it wass the .5 mm Attack version

That's good to know. For me, the 1.2 isn't too fast. I'd even want to try 1.5 if it was made available and under the 4mm limit.

My chops were going pretty long with the 1.2 mm.

I like the Tibhar Grass DTec.S, but it costs me $50 in damage every time I touch the table with a push, chop or serve. I have 3 of them, now, all hit in the same general area, so I'm trying to find something cheaper that works as well or better.

$22 per sheet is a bit too expensive for me now that I kind of like 755. :)

Maybe someone will want to take a flyer on a bargain to perk up the EJ genes.

Aloha, I switched from inverted a year ago (setup was Timo Boll Spirit, FH Tenergy 05 & BH Tenergy 64). I used to play with Butterfly Feint AG, now using KTL Stranger Attack 1.2 mm on my BH using a Joola MC1 (rated offensive ++ using a balsa core). My FH is Andro Shifter Powersponge. I still play my new setup like inverted, but occassionally chop a heavy long serve. I can play the Stranger Attack 1.2 mm with hit, topspin, push, block, and loop (loop stroke that is).

vs push....the Stranger Attack is good vs push...you can push even when pips side is parallel to table.
vs loop....just close the paddle and use light grip, just like when you return using inverted...even counterloop with it
vs topspin...no problem, just close the paddle at about 1 o'clock, light grip...easy to topspin vs topspin too, just start and hit with open face and follow through is at 1 o'clock.
vs med serve...can use pips to flick, even the side flick and disrupts the opponent (",)

I'm never going back to inverted. This setup has escalated my game to being one of the top dogs in our Hawaii club. The only CONS I have about the Stranger Attack is that it's reactive to heavy serves so your technique must be good in service returns. I am unrated but have consistently defeated players 1800-2000 with my setup. Hope this review is useful.
