Here is some information originally published a few days ago in my blog on the new Spinlord Feuerstich long pips available starting next week

Image

Last month, ttdd's Mark Köhler released on German forums about the new Spinlord Feuerstich long pips:

- Slightly faster than Dornenglanz, but still below average pace
- Rather soft, like the Blitzschlag, but is faster
- Pip tops are are similar to Dornenglanz and Blitzschlag, but not as sticky
- Very grippy necks - pip width is the same as Blitzschlag
- The distance between the individual pips is larger and greater than any long pip known to us on the market
- The pimple geometry is therefore different than in previous long pimples
- The rubber compound is also quite newly developed
- The pips are robust
- Only offered in ox. An attempt is being made to also produce this pip with sponge, whether they'll succeed, however, is a different question
- Probably priceed at EUR 19.90 (no guarantee)
- Already fully ITTF approved, all tests passed in the first attempt
- Will appear in about 2-3 weeks

Playability (our opinion, not objective facts): maximum disruption, but still high control, and versatility. Compared to previous Spinlord long pimples, the Feuerstich is more lively and dangerous. The control is somewhat lower, but still higher than many other long pimples.

More information was revealed in a new post by Köhler on pimp-my-blade.de:

The Feuerstich will definitely appear next week.

Preliminary Description: The Feuerstich is an aggressive long pimpled rubber, the pace is just below the fastest long pimples. It is somewhat slower than Tuttle Autumn 3D and slightly faster than Giant Dragon Attack Long and CTT National Pogo (thus significantly faster than other long Spinlord long pips). Nevertheless, it is very easy to control and easily dominate in passive blocking.

In comparison to Attack Long, the pips are longer and spaced further apart (extremely far), so the Feuerstich is clearly more dangerous. It can be used for all types of shots, not just at the table, thus this rubber is optimal for all players. More speed for disruptive offensive shots, without any compromises in control for backspin defense and passive blocks. The disruptive effect clearly increases with more use of the wrist, passive balls are in middle range and disruption becomes very high with active shots. Available in ox red and black, EUR 19,90.

I would be most interested to see how it fares in comparison to the Grass Dtecs.

Hi there
On pmb mark köhler has given 5 free samples to the comunity for testing.

I am one of the lucky ones. The rubber already arrived but i had no time for testing yet.

I could provide some pictures of the rubber. It is still not cut and in original state.

If you could get a magnified pic so we can see the tops and sides of the pips, that would be great!

I wish I had access to a free sheet to try......... EJing is expensive, at $32 shipped, its not like the $5 Chinese rubbers, but if it plays well and lasts, and lives up to the marketing words, it will be worth the money.

He could provide an example to Fabian Åkerstrøm...
He must be one of the best to test the new "wonder" LP... ;)
To me it looks a lot like BlietzLag..
Cheers

The tops look smooth.

I decided to be reckless and ordered a sheet, which hopefully will arrive about the same time as my new blade

If anyone gets to play with it, please post your observations

I notice that DTec.S is horizontally aligned. What effect does it have which direction the pips are aligned?

BTW, of the pips I have, the DTec.S have the farthest apart pips. I suspect this contributes to the high deception it seems to cause.
