The current list (28B) will be cover only until 31 Mar 08 (10 day remaining !!!). How come the smart ITTF can't announce the new racket cover list ? Or the final test result (for some LP rubbers that the supplier sent to ITTF for retest) is not same as the ITTF expect. Anyone have some idea ?

Why? Because THEY CAN. Nobody holds ITTF accountable. ITTF is accountable to no higher authority I know of. What? The executive commitee? Give me a break. Like they keep that organization in line...

What are we practically able to do? Go pay a visit good ole Adam and friends to bend their dog tags for failing to be responsive to average players? Unless you control a gigantic media organization and have total influence over what they publish, you are unlikely to build any meaningful pressure on the good ole boys. So lets keep bending over and performing the hamstring stretch standing.

Der, its quite simple really. The way I see it, if the rules they make are ridiculous to the average player, ignore them. If enough people ignore them, then they mean nothing. Now I know at International level they probably won't ignore them. But at local level I think you can. The ITTF in reality is probably only concerned with International Tournaments for all intents and purposes. They may muse at the unrest it causes amongst the local levels, but I can't see them getting worried about a guy at micro level not towing their line. And the nitty gritty of the rules doesn't get followed at club level in my experience anyway. Thats how I see it.
