Thanks vanjr, I agree. What blade did you try the 0.6 and OX on? Can you tell me what advantages you saw with 0.6 vs. 1.0mm? Advantages/disadvantages of OX vs. 0.6mm?

Thanks!

I started off with the 729 bomb blade using the OX version. I think it you have a chopping blade 755 with sponge will be more controlable with the 0.6 over 1.0 sponge, but probably hit a little better with the thicker sponge. My current favorite chopping blade is the galaxy/yinhe LQ-2 (closely followed by the LQ-1).

If you have 8 hours a week to play and spend a significant amount of time chopping you can probably adjust to either one.

0.6 should be easier.

I plan to switch to 0.5-0.6 too. My TT hours drop from 12-20 hours a week to 2 hours a week.

I need something easier. Plus I switch to NEXY Chaos 1mm after 8 years with P1-r 1mm.
Next chaos is VERY.....extremely grippy. I'm still learning to play with it.

WOW! I can't believe you changed! That's huge for you considering your P-1R investment of 8 years. And 12-20? God I wish I could do that...ever... I average about 8 per week.

Besides that..I wanted to tell you how awesome that game you had against Kane Watson was! Very nicely done. I didn't see that video on the forum anywhere... For those of you who might not know, Bogey defeated the current reigning Jamaican National champ!

Was that done with your new setup? Or was that the old defplay and P-1R?

Old one but sold one EBay 2 weeks ago.
