Is 1.5 sponge increase speed than 1.0 sponge?

Not by much. But if it is on defensive blade your chops tend to go higher. I put it on off blade chops stays nice low but i lack backspin due to my technique.

I'll put it on Xiom allround s,changing from feint long 2 1.3 because of the receiving. I wanna better control and spin on it.

You will get more spin. Might need to adjust your stroke when chopping to keep it low or spinny.
