The speed of OX LP rubbers is more dependent on the speed of the blade than the speed of the rubber itself.

There is A BIG difference in what OX rubber you play with.

Try a Dtec vs a Spinlord Stachelfeuer on the same blade and you will see ;)

Blade: Koji Matsushita
FH: Tibhar MX-S Max
BH: Yasaka Rising Dragon 2.0
And then there is Braking Effect which isn't necessarily the speed of the rubber but the amount of pace the LPs take off the ball.

Dtecs and Talon are fast-ish (to me)...however they have good braking effect.
Yasaka Phantom 07 is slow AND has good braking effect.
DG is linear...

I think the blade is a huge part of it, perhaps the biggest part of it, but that there is also significant differences in speed between rubbers. Trying all of the rubbers above on the same blade, I can attest to it.

Depends on the sponge thickness. From the pips I've tried, p4 has had the most control, very similar to feint 3. Personally I prefer p4 as there's a little more reversal and overall has a great balance.

Slowest I've encountered so far is Neubauer No.1. Others include Yasaka 007, P3aR, and Stachelfauer. I've got a sheet of Hellfire that I haven't tried yet and will be interested to see how that compares.
