I use TSP Curl P1r 0,5mm for several years but I think it is very difficult for me!!

I am thinking on change long pips. Yesterday I tried Feint Long 3 but I don´t like because is very slow.

I would use LP similar at TSP Curl P1r 0,5 but easier to use.

I'd like to hear you options for me!!!

Some options that I thought ...
- Thibar Grass 0,5mm
- Palio ck531a 0,5mm
- Giant Dragon Meteorite 0,5mm
- Donic Piranja 0,5mm

Maybe you should start telling us what is difficult for you and what style you (want to) play & what level. Without that information, any tip would be useless...

I have used P1r for a while now and I've also used Feint Long 3. I've read in the forums here about people describing Donic Spike P1 as similar to P1r but easier to use.

Ok, but what is that you're having trouble with?

I can't think of many LP easier to use for chopping than P1r.. you could try 1mm?

Spike P1 is just grippier and easier to attack & block with, not necassarilly easier for chopping, flight curve is a little less flat

Agreed, this needs context.

I find P-1R the "easiest" to use in most situations. It's not so grippy that serve returns are difficult. It's also not so grippy that you have to match 100% the speed of the incoming topspin.

On the other hand it's not so slippery that you are not able to add spin with it.

It's also very dampening and I can take pace off a shot quite well. No where near as dampening as FL3, but still good.

The reason I liked FL3 when I played it, is that if I pushed/chopped a serve, the return always garnered a loop from the opponent because there was more underspin on the serve return. As a chopper, I want that to get in to loop/chop rallies. P-1R can do this too, but it requires a little more finesse.

The problem with FL3's grip is that it made serve return trickier vs. better servers. But one thing I've learned is that no matter how controlled your pips are vs. spin, if you don't read the serve right, you will most likely lose the point anyway, just maybe not as quickly as the 3rd ball.

I don´t like FL3, is very slow and the throw angle is very high.

Yeah, that's one of the big complaints with that rubber. The chop stroke needed is very horizontal compared to other pips. It's good and bad.

You can get used to anything, but I totally get why that's not good to you.
