i bought viper soft OX after reading all reviews here
and i played it

its similar to dawei 388D1 in look and in play and viper is 4 time more expensive
not worth that moeny!

Yeah, the Doc's LP offerings the last few years have been disappointing. Every time they came up with a new LP, I was anticipating that it would put Grass dTecs to shame. Viper is their best attempt so far but imo still not as good as Talon or Dornenglanz especially for someone (like me) who plays passively.

Well here is my two pennth! I normally play with Dr N No 1 on a Dr N special blade (thick balsa). I have not been impressed with viper or viper soft. They don't trouble my opponents and when I push any return it pops up and then smash I've lost the point. During rallies if I chop it tends to go into the net. However with No 1 I've far more control and my opponents have far more problems than the viper. Conclusion I'm still looking for the perfect long pimple.

Viper ox v Hellfire ox on defplay both in black:Viper pips are softer, the grip is higher, more backspin when chopping, more spin sensitive. Not enough passive reversal from either for me, both attack well.I only used for 1 session, probably the blade is nor suited for a blocking game particularly with Viper

What kind of blade is good for hellfire?
