A couple of years ago I tried Feint 3 .05 and found it difficult to play because of the speed (but I had no clue what I was doing.) I tried it again for a few sessions this week and have come to the same conclusion....it's really slow. I like the rubber because of it's outstanding control but on my "all" blade it's too damn slow (probably because I still have no clue.) I have Curl P-1 .05 on an identical blade but I don't know if I have the time/patience to figure it out.

Behind Feint Series, other than AG, is dampening rubber.

ha! So I should have asked if the 1.3 is significantly slower!

I guess I never knew or thought about the Feint sponges being dampening. Now that I think about my Feint 2....while being more lively....it's pretty slow as well.

Hmmmm back to the Curl.

After some advice from bogeyhunter I also went back to P1 , but might go with a slower blade th n my Joo. The F3 is not worth the money , don't get me wrong I still think it hits and block great with super control, I had issues netting the ball, but F2 sounds interesting

FL3 is the slowest LP I've used. I used it in 1.3, and no other sponge width.

0.5 is slower and less bouncy than 1.1 and blocks better though still not great, feint 2 for better blocking

ive tried l/p in the past and moved quickly onto anti.
i will say that i had a brief try of f2 0.5 and really liked it.i tried a thicker version in red but it was too fast.
seems very easy to play with

I can say 100% that the 1.3 version of FL3 is slower than the 0.5 version. More sponge in this case = more dampening.

On a slow blade, it's awful. On a fast blade, it's wonderful, and you have lots of gears. It's near perfect on the Joo blade if you like grippier pips, and totally get why Filus likes this on a Joo Blade. Feels not quite as grippy as well on the Joo.

In terms of speed, I feel like P-1R 1.0 on a Victas Matsushita feels about the same speed as FL3 on the Joo Blade. Of course, blades vary so this will vary.
