I get excellent results with Talon OX. It's one of the few OX LPs that I can consistently build increasing backspin with during a loop/chop rally. Few loopers can get past the 3rd exchange before they net the ball. It also attacks well, which I use to my advantage when a loop is too short and high.. lunge in and smack it BH LP!

Im looking for a OX LP with most backspin vs medium spin topspin

If you send me a medium spin topspin and i chop with my bomb talent ox, you can't do another topspin without netting the ball. ;)

Does this pip work Well for distance chopping with a Thin sponge ?
Looking for sponged chopping rubbers

I haven't tried with sponge. But in order to see the true potential of these pips you can watch matches of Liu Song or Robert Shahnazari. Both uses bomb talent ox in red.

I`m probably going to be trying Bomb talent with the thinnest sponge(economical version)from Eacheng,I reckon this is the thinnest base of the lp`s I`ve seen and has the best chance to retain some ox-like benefits with improved chopping and attacking,I will get it in black which I believe is softer/more flexible from memory,I did try both colours in ox and really liked the black sheet but found there was a little too much wood feel when chopping which affected backspin and control, this was so nearly right, would love to know which sponge Liu Song had with his BT!

When you talk about the Dawei 388d. Do you mean the 388d or the 388d-1?

For distance chopping 388D (smooth pips) is the best. For blocking 388D-1 (rough pips) is the best.

what kind of lp are feint2 smooth rough thin fat? Are they good at pushblocking at the table?
