Hi , I realize that high disturbance is an important part of my game.

Which rubber produce the "highest" disturbance ?

Disturbance is usually understood as one of these;

1. Spin reversal
2. Spin variation

At the lower level, spin reversal tends to be the most disturbing, as people don't understand what happens to the spin. However at higher level where people do understand how reversal works, having a rubber with high reversal makes it actually quite predictable. At these levels a LP with some grip tends to be more disturbing, as these can both take the spin off, or reverse it, by subtle changes of strokes.

The Tibhar Dtecs is usually classed as one of the most disturbing, as it's got high reversal and soft & springy pips, produces some unpredictability as well.

Reminds of the blurb on the package of Phantom:

"Earth Quakes! Ball Shakes!! Like Phantom!!!"

One of the first rubber sheets I ever bought (back then, 009, with the thickest sponge)... Really tough to control, though. No two color rule back then, I had a lot of fun twiddling before serving. No one serves with long pips any more, back then it was really effective...

I still have a lot of success serving with my pips, alternating spinny with my inverted and then using the same motion with the pips.

I think you have this statement very wrong Isk. I know plenty of LP players who serve with LP, especially the one's who use dual LP :P

I don't twiddle, but recently (a week's time) trying twiddling on serves just like you said. So far so good. Often gets easy points on that. 8-)

I certainly serve with my LP, with good effect.

Regarding disturbance, the rubber I use - Spinlord Dornenglanz - is the most disturbing I have used. DtecS is also disturbing.

I have to agree - I serve with my anti quite a bit. Then again, I don't do that too much to really good players - but it doesn't matter what I do to them: they'll smash it back at me anyway!

I vote for Grass D.Tecs.

Depends on the opponent, but on average I serve with it at least 50% of the time.

grass dtecs is producing the most funky balls
big, soft grippy pips sometimes reverse spin, sometimes kill it and do no spin (even with similar/the same stroke)

but im not using grass, because i need maximum backspin while chooping average topspin 1 meter off table
