I got it off eBay with free shipping from eaching.net eBay store. But it is most definitely still in production. They even just changed the logo to have the ITTF box on it.

Thanks. I still haven't learned how to purchase things from eBay. I did notice the Cloud and Fog 3 is available from amazon.com For me, that is probably a much quicker route.

I also wonder if it is more likely to receive a fake sheet of rubber when ordering on amazon, or if people don't bother making fake versions of inexpensive long pip rubbers.

I don't think they would bother making a fake....it seems like so much effort....it's like making a fake 729 rubber.....why?

Actually in China they make fakes of everything, down to bean curd they also make some fakes...

About a dime a piece and yet they still make some fakes.

But in this case for rubbers I haven't seen/heard fake rubbers of the chinese brands. Usually Butterfly, Yasaka, etc.

Hello,
It is an excellent application of M9 but it must not forget that it is still not as reliable!

leatherback,

Thanks for all your help. I just ordered two sheets of DHS Cloud and Fog 3 from amazon. One sheet will be for my VKM blade and the other for my Butterfly Viscaria blade. I will enjoy having one classical defense setup (the VKM) and one "atmospheric scientist setup" (the Butterfly Viscaria with Hurricane 3 and Cloud and Fog 3), in addition to my regular setup indicated in my signature.

If you ordered from GH Sports on amazon, that is eacheng. Just more expensive than AliExpress or eBay. It will come in at the same time.

Hope it is closer to Spike P1 then to D-tecs, but i'm afraid it's not :worried:

But looking forward to sharing experiences ;)

Pipsy,

It makes me feel sort of old when everyone orders from eBay, and I haven't learned to purchase on eBay,

It will be great to share our experiences with Cloud and Fog III. However, it could take a while for me to receive the rubber. The email from amazon indicated that it would take one month for the rubber to ship.

Since returning to table tennis 5 years ago, the table tennis player that I encountered with the worst behaviour, by far, was a defensive player that uses Cloud and Fog 3. Hopefully the rubber doesn't influence us that way :D
