Thanks Leatherback!

Are you chopping with the OX-version or do you have a sponge underneath?

Birding&TT, has your C&FIII arrived already?

Wouldn't that make it even faster? Or would you think the thicker medium-hard sponge would be more dampening?

I like the feel of thick sponge when someone loops really hard. It feels like I'm catching it and throwing it back. Too thin makes that feeling harder to get.

I left the C&F III - too many errors when chopping and could't push deep consistently

What blade does Jian Li use does anyone know for sure? He rips his forehand I'm guessing a faster def blade?

Last we checked, it was a Matsushita Pro

I watched Jian Li play a couple of weeks ago at the Badger Open, against one of our club players. It is amazing to watch how accurately he can chop balls back with the C & F III. He's a good sport and a gracious player, allowing our 2150 club player to rally with him. But he could end the point at any time.

Yes, he even let me hold it. But I was only interested in the pips, and not the blade. Now I wish that I would have looked at the whole setup. ☹️
