And about the Cakra. It has different plies on the BH and FH sounds like. White ash (same as your famous Lissom) on the BH. Couldn't make out the FH ply. So, I assume this is a combi blade with a fast FH and slow BH? Is it oversized?

After 9 months off from pong.

I don't remember feeling of the old one. Difficult to compare.

Very comfortable with transition(maybe because both have white ash on BH side). FH - a tiny bit faster. adjust timing on FH chop a bit and everything is solved!!!
Will use this new combo at NA Team in DC.

Update :

Schmerz is a bit grippy.
Good at when opp slow loop and I need to create my own spin and a little easier to hit with BH, not flat hit but hit with little spin.

Hi,

Got hold of a Sauer & Troger Schmerz LP OX for testing. The pimples are horizontally aligned with a rather smooth surface.

Initial test on a Sauer & Troger Kasalla blade finds that Schmerz OX is a pretty fast all-round LP, plays quite similar to Dr.Neubauer Allround Premium I/II version. This LP shines in attacking and blocking. All other LP strokes like BH roll, swipe, sharp push etc can be done at ease. Chopping can also be done as you can see from my test video. However, you have to adjust a bit in the angle of chopping, otherwise the ball may fly high a bit. Overall, it is a pretty good rubber, but don't expect to much deception. It is very enjoyable and live to play! Following is the test video for sharing:

Just for your information, I have two channels with lots of videos. The second one is outdated, but having many tournament videos of players in action. If you like it, please subscribe!

Cheers and enjoy! :) :) :)
