Blade: JSK straight
FH: S1
BH: Dragon Talon OX
I tested Giant Dragon Talon OX black on a JSK and really liked how it was able to block aggressive loops and keep ball on table.

All the other long pips ox I have tried seem faster and generally blocks long on a off- blade.

I am asking this sea of experts; Do you know of other LP that is softer or slower than Giant Dragon OX ? I would like to try them

Apparently red ox and national version may be better.

Thanks

I've tried both, the D.tecs & and GD Talon, and although, the D.tecs by itself is a fast LP, I found it to be slower compared to the Talon.. Plus it always seems to me that D.tecs has this sort braking-effect, which most other LPs lack.

Bomb Talent is another LP, I'm playing with, which is fast'ish, but yet slower, compared to the Talon..

Slowest LP I've tried is TSP Curl P3aR. Excellent for blocking short. Good reversal but not as funky as some others. There are always compromises.

Dawei 388D - Soft, very good at passive blocks with decent reversal. Keeps blocks short too. Also very cheap! So well worth a go.

Yep +1 for 388D ... awesome rubber, especially given the price .. I'm playing with it .. but, to me it does not seem similar to Talon ...
