Hi Everyone,
I am still suffering from my knee injury and am waiting to hear whether I need an operation. I am back in training and struggling with my DTecS.
Can anybody give me feedback on Curl P-H? I play a blocking at the table game. I try to force loose shots with my pips through short blocks and fast pushes and put them away with forehand smashes and drives.

I actually played this for a short time when I was just discovering pips and wasn't sure about how to play as a chopper. I actually loved the rubber back then as I tended to stay at the table (didn't know how to get into a chopping situation) and this helped me control the ball in chop blocks and active blocks.

My impressions now that I am more versed in LP play, and having revisted this in the recent past:
Slow and grippy, you have to be active, but it's okay for passive play, but angle is important. If you are thinking of more passive, I'd look elsewhere. P-H is the best attacking (or close) Lp i've used. I think if I ever were to lose my mobility, I'd try to use this full time. But...and big but...it requires an active stroke to be super effective. So if chop block and hitting is your game, it's a good choice. If I wanted to play like Deng Yaping, I'd chose this rubber, but for now I am going to continue to chop while I have the legs to do it.

It's been many years since I tried this rubber, but from my recollection I think Japsican's comment are absolutely spot on!

Liked it except it was very grippy.
