Overall I kinda got used to it, it’s ridiculously spinny on chops and feels great. I am gonna stop posting here and instead will create a P1 vs P4 comparison thread since I now know both quite well. Stay tuned (if anyone cares ) I have gone through, and will go through the same thing. On the JSH the 0.5mm P4 is better than the 0.5 P-1R (to me) simply because the p-1 in that thickness on that blade is too slippery. In 1.0mm the opposite was true, the P-1R was amazing and the P-4 felt too impotent. I felt like P-1R 1.0mm had roughly the same grip as P-4 in 0.5mm. It's just a matter of how much sponge you want and weight at that point. On a slower flexier blade like the defplay, 0.5mm for both rubbers were better, with me favoring P-1R by a lot. And I do care, so I may copy and repost this to your other thread. |
