Hi,

I'm currently using p1r 1mm on BTY Joo and am looking for more control when chopping. I'm thinking P4 but anyone know any other good options to put on BTY Joo? Please leave your thoughts on the pips to.

Thanks

Check out this recent thread: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32033

The poster had a question similar to yours and also used the P1R and wanted more control, so you might find the responses there helpful.

It all depends on your level of play. P1r is a very demanding rubber with unreal chopping potential. Most people use thicker sponges because that is what Joo does (and you get spin variation, bla bla bla...). I personally find my 0.5 sponge EXTREMELY spinny and even in this thickness it needs a full chopping motion almost all the time - i.e. not easy to master.
