Someone showed me a piece of this lp. Does anyone have any experiance with it?
It is made in China, but R&D done localy? I have yet to have a hit with it. A little observation from side line shows some good lp playing characteristics.

I've never heard of it. Is it actually a legal ITTF approved long pimple?

Lots of fake ITTF numbers in China.. (Or there used to be - all those Timo Boll branded rubbers on AliExpress seem to be gone.. I think Herr Boll - or his lawyers - have been busy recently.. )

Why don't you post a photo of this JeanKing long pips? The ID strip.

I don't have this lp. As I mention in my posting, Someone was playing and showing it to me. And I was inquiring if anyone in this forum have played it.

Well I might have a chance for a free sample.

I don't know of a Jeanking/Jean King rubber, are you sure to get that name right? Or did you see the Globe Mo Wang rubber?

The other rubber that would remind me of Jeanking would be Yinhé Venus, but that's no long pimple.

Sorry mates, I was just given a piece of the lp.
The name on the packing is Jengking, and the back of packing has the words "Pimpleholics" at the top.Manufacturer? I suppose. There was an ITTF approval no on the base right of the rubber. I was told it was approved only recently. I have no detail as the actual date of issued approval.
The base looks thin, and the pimples a little harder than the old version of D Tec.

Give some time, I will hit with it some time this week end or early next week, and come out with a brief
review.

I suppose it's this one.

Malaysian based (although doesn't necessarily means made in malaysia).

They go by "The Pimpleholics" and the rubber's name: JengKing. I don't know how or what the name means, but I have suspicion that it means Scorpion.

It is in the LARC 2017B.

Maker is registered as "The Pimpleholics", so it's alphabetized under "T", and hidden away in the bottom right corner of page 5.

Thank you, I missed it half hour ago, going thro the ITTF approval listing. Was trying to look under "Pimpleholics" instead of "T"

Yes "jengking" is the word for scorpion in Malay langguage. Made in China, but devellopment done locally, was told. Glued on and test by hitting the ping pong ballagainst big pc of wooden plane. Not bad feeling. Might be easy to flat hit and even looping which is my favourite weapon. I play lp on FH.Chopping seems to make quite good reverse spin. But these are bounce backs from 3 inches thick o wood placed vertical on wall. May be totaly different in actual games on TT table.

Have a good hit with JK(Jingking) and below my review:
This description about Jingking lp is based on my games and with my setup. It's playing characteristics may be different on other blades and playing style :

It is a nice lp to play with. I am FH lp player, and thus I mainly flat hit and loop. In these areas, it works well as a effective weapon. It has medium high throw that provides an added advantage in hitting. Easy and comfortable for my flat hit attacking game, putting my opponent in distress.
Looping is another aspect I like of this lp. I loop the ball between its top and middle descending stage, lifting the ball with heavy bottom side spin. The result is a fast, spiny and low throw on opposite table, and as it lands it drops off immediately.
Placement can be done quite easily with passive drive/push short or down to base line, forcing opponent to run wild from side to side.
It is easy to hit even at receiving serves, as long as the ball is served to near base line and better still out table after bounce.
I could not, however, do the FH flick near the net, as compared to GDTalon and GDTec. Most of my flicks get embraced by the net. :(
Chopping from midlle and far distance is great and a good joy, producing some amount of reverse spin. There is some spin variation for rally game. But one has to do with control. Yes playing with it is not simple as it needs some effort but it is not too difficult after few gams.

Over all, I enjoy this lp and it shall be on my blade at least for some time to come.
The downside is it's thinness. I have no calliper or other appropriate tool only judged from visual inspection.
