Recently I use TSP P1R 0.5mm and TSP p4 1mm on Donic Defplay Senso V3.P4 seems not to be much more controable than p1r.I always chop to the net ;(

P1R seems to be better and underspin is very heavy ,because i prefer to chop the ball just above the earth

Welcome to the forum.

I think we all chop the ball above the earth. It would be difficult otherwise. ;)

Did you have a question in mind about the topic?

The Difference in P4 and P-1R is mainly in the sponge, the topsheets aren't that different IMO.

You stated that you tried p-1R in 0.5mm and P-4 in 1.0mm.

The P-4 sponge is far slower and softer, and gets slower the thicker the sponge. In 1.0mm, it would be far slower than P-1R, especially if it has a thinner 0.5mm sponge. I've used both those combos and a P-4 with 1.0mm sponge would require you have a more forward chop to make up for the lack of pace.
