Hi guys,

I have used now 563 and Keiler med pips about 1-1,5mm sponge in my BH. Its quite fun to play with those. I still want to tryvsome LP that has better deception and reversing spin. I play quite near the table blockin , attackin sometimes choping. I think its allround game. I have inverted in my forehand. Can you recommend some LP rubbers and which sponge should I try?

Best regards

Timo

I also play close to the table and like to push and flat hit. I’ve tried so many long pips such as friendship, dtechs, Palio, pogo, KL stranger attack, dr N no1, dr N premium, dr N Viper, talon, mo long others that I can’t remember. All with sponge and many with ox. Grass dtech is definitely in my opinion over rated particularly since the new ball. The ones I would recommend for your style would be Dr N Gangster .6 sponge or Meteorite with .5 sponge.

Gangster & Meteorite are good suggestions and there are many others to choose from. My current is Desperado 2. I mostly block, push & chop. Occasional hits. I'd recommend in OX or 0.6. A thin sponge provides slightly more effective hitting & chopping at the expense of some reversal/disruption.
