Hi Croudy,

Great video as always.

Thanks for the English subtitles.

Cheers

Yes, I've been using it for the past several months in OX. I've found it to be excellent both for passive and active blocking and for chopping, as well as for attacking. Don't really see any flaws. Good with the new ball as well. Pips did start falling out en masse after about four months of use, and it's not cheap, so that might be a concern.

I tried the Strahlkraft in OX for a bit, and I found it to be good at NOTHING other than attacking. On both blocks and chops, the ball regularly stayed very high or even sailed long. Maybe it would be better for a very active blocking game. Or maybe there was something I needed to adjust about my technique. Not sure. In any event, it didn't seem even remotely comparable to the Kamikaze in any way, shape or form. Also, speaking of shape or form, the shape of the pips of the Strahlkraft is unusual, in being sort of conical (thick at the base and thinner at the top), and the pips are extremely stiff. The Kamikaze, on the other hand, has ordinary medium-hard, widely spaced pips.

Haven't used the Talon in years. I recall the spin reversal was good, but that was with the old ball, and I have no clue how it plays with the new ball. Never loved it for chopping. The Kamikaze has stiffer pips and is made for the new ball. Can't really compare them beyond that because, as I said, I never used the Talon with this ball.

thanks.... since you've said the pips started to broken in four months it makes me wonder to try it because its price is not cheap €36 for a sheet of long pips is not making any sense for me :(
