On Saturday I tried this great new OX LP rubber & I was blown away by how well it suited my game.
I’ve arrived at this LP recently in the last few years from the Tibhar Grass DTecs to Dr N Viper then back to the Spinlord Dornenglanz (which I had tried before & still like very much).
The JenKing by PimpleHolics is a slow, low trajectory, deceptive rubber with great unpredictable spin reversal which after a workout of about an hour looks like it will fit my game like a glove. I will keep you informed of my progress.

I had a hit with Gollum when he tried this new long pimple. He seemed to have no trouble adjusting from Dornenglanz. Even though this LP is slower, his pushes were more penetrating and it seemed to work really well for him. It was also clear that my topspin had less effect on his blocks, as he got a lot more of them back and they came back lower. It's a little more sensitive to incoming backspin (compared to Dornenglanz), so that's really the only adjustment you'd need to make.

As Haggisv has commented I now have to make some further adjustments but this LP is very interesting with a lot of potential Will now be practicing with it during the gap between summer & winter season competition but the rubber looks interesting.
