Hi!

Which blade is recommended for Metal TT Death,

currently i have a few blades i play with such as: re impact smart, Andro fibercomp def, spinlord ultra spin, all around Wood Classic, tsp swat, tsp balsa 3., Victas koji( normal and offensive blade)

which one of the blades i mentioned is recommended for Metal TT Death?

if nobody of them is suited for this rubber which blade would i buy that is more all around/off. I like playing attacking/loop on forehand and Close to table style with long pimple.

"emil" I use a TRP Trinity Carbon but of all the blades you've listed I reckon the Reimpact Smart would work well.

There's a new video where Marco Faso, the creator of Death LP, shows his technique in slow motion.

I''m not sure what he's doing in the third method to create the extra reversal?

Not sure either as the ball seemed to be bouncing very oddly with devastating effect :o

Croudy demonstrates a similar reversing ball on his review.

From what I can see, he's pulling back the bat as well as chop blocking and the bat angle is more closed, making it harder to keep it low, but it bounces very short with heavy backspin. Much harder to do of course.

Yeah. Definitely works. But I cant help wondering why - I thought that maximum reversal required minimum dwell on rubber, but pulling the bat back a little on contact would increase dwell.

I have this on order and will report back with my impressions.

Whatever he is doing on that 3rd stroke is pure class with incredible touch. Love the slow mo replay too. Great video!

Tested yesterday vs. strong topspinner. This rubber can definitely return strong topspin with strong backspin. Able to return fast loops relatively simply as well.

The consistency of blocking is surprising! Dropshots are also very short.

Will continue to get used to it and report back.

Update: the backhand "strong push" is a very good stroke with this rubber. Just keep the blade in "wall position" and push forward without any fancy wrist movement. Ball shoots out low, deep, and very nasty!

I was using it on the Tibhar Defense Plus which has some balsa layers. I suspect it will work better with a stiff blade so today I will try it on the der-materialspezialist Revolution blade.
