good day !!! I have been wondering what would happen if we stuck 4/5 glue sheets to an ox rubber whose pips are at the limit of the Ittf ....... it would mean the pips would exceed the limits, thus, granting an advantage to the pips user and there would be no way to control this,....

they say snowflake special is at the limit of pips length ,...... does this idea make enough sense?,..... By the way, if this worked, I would never do it,....

;)

I don't think you'll get an advantage, and it would be illegal since the total thickness would exceed 2.0mm.

yes, illegal but I am just saying that supposedly longer pips are more destructive,... then,... thanks to the extra glue sheet, the pips would go beyond 2.0mm,...

and also, maybe it will not be easy to control this illegality, at least in minor tournaments

;)

I don't get it...using multiple glue sheets will increase the overall thickness but not the length of the pimples.

Yes I agree.... it would more similar to having a very thin & firm sponge.

Ok but the player could deceive the opponent by thinking he/she was playing in ox,however,it could behave as having a thing sponge, which not being a real sponge it might play differently and make weird balls???
