Since moving to grippier LP, best shot is definitely attacking hits. Against all types of spin.

Good style, easier to play vs double inverted, a good fight vs another long pips player.

I had been using the frictionless anti, but with the newer balls... they don't really create much more spin reversal than even the grippier long pips! They can do a bit more, but their attacking is so compromised I didn't feel it was worth continuing with them when I was left attacking more often anyway. Both return pretty much deadballs with their hits, though the grippy LP are much easier to hit with consistently.

I play against a guy who uses the FLanti, and when playing anti to my LP I can usually open up on the attack -- and his blocks aren't very effective since my hits don't have a lot of spin to begin with. And if he tries to attack with the anti, tons of mistakes will be had...

I guess I am at some kind of intermediate level, regardless of equipment/style.

With LP OX the most points come from the other side ;-) (setup with OX, for a winner using inverted). Opponent misreading spin from my aggressive pushes and returning high, so I can attack with inverted.
Close second: attack with LP against underspin. Not very strong attacks, but unexpected. Most opponents are surprised that it is possible to attack against their short, heavy underspin balls.
