Hello all! I am the pickelman. Have a few questions:

1) What is the best long pips from Zeropong-need something that will really throw off opponents, deception
2) What is the best way I can get to 1500 using this rubber, and while I'm at it, what wood blade would go well with this? I'm not too good at picking stuff out. Have a pickle of a good day _ Pickelman

You could try the new GXL long pips. I want to try them but haven't had a chance.

Otherwise, i'd say 755 or Pogo are decent in their inventory.

1500? There are a lot of IFs.

Some folks no matter which rubber will never reach 1500. Pips or not. I see them left and right at our club. These are the folks who keep repeating the same incorrect technique, not using their body, not moving, etc. Some of these folks I don't even know, while others when I politely would suggest something reply that they do it because of x, y, z. Which is another way of saying "I know what I am doing" |( :?:

Another category of folks quickly go past 1500 and end up getting stuck much higher, unless they are willing to invest a lot of time and money. These are often former junior players. In order to be in this other group you just have to develop touch, consistency and then enjoy your ride. Don't try to loop kill every ball, develop consistency and vision. Did you really mean to hit it down the line or was it accidental? This is something only you would know and be able to answer.

When you become a better player the rubber you end up selecting won't make that much of a difference.

The easiest way to 1500 is using long pips OX on your backhand after you learn how to use it.
