This is the testing period for the new season.I have been wonderiing why Dr Neubauer K.O is not available in OX.Is it because it becomes too slow? is it because the special sponge plays an important role in the overall performance?

The reality is that K.O has not been conceived to be played in ox and Dr Neubauer has not explained why in his website . We can remove the sponge and see how it performs.Does anybody tested K.O in ox? maybe the spin reversal will improve or maybe it will become unplayable .

If anybody tries to test it in ox, it would be excellent to share the findings in the forum.I myself will be testing it ,in fact,I have removed the sponge already .

Thank you and let´s share our experience!!

:)

Good day !!

I have just copied and pasted the information on Dr Neubauer´s site and as you can see , there is no K.O in ox .

maybe there is a new Dr Neubauer site on the dark net

https://www.drneubauer.com/shop.php?cat ... s&prod=106

Dr Neubauer K.O.

New ! Available as from now !

K.O.
Disruptive effect and control with half-long pimples

The new rubber K.O. comes in addition to our half-long pimple rubber AGGRESSOR which we launched 2016.

While AGGRESSOR is most effective while playing actively (active blocking, counter-attacking, hitting) the new K.O. also produces a distinctive disruptive effect with low bounce while blocking passively.

Also K.O. provides great control, including and especially for service returning and pushing over the table.

This makes K.O. a very effective half-long pimple rubber with great control.

Available as from June 2017 with the sponge thickness 1.3, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0mm

Category: Half-long pimples
Colours: red +black
Sponge: 1.3 + 1.5 + 1.8 + 2.0mm
Speed: 92
Spin: 81
Control: 94

On that same page I can see OX as an option in the drop down box (for adding to basket).

Yes, you are both right , thank you!!,however , Dr Neubauer has not explained the adavantages or disadvantages of K.O in ox .

This evening I trained for nearly 3 hours. There is some difference in how it plays . The spin reversal is a bit better and especially the pushes are very much improved too .The sinking effect is perfect and the ball stays low with great control .

Also, the set up is much lighter, which for me it is a bonus !!! . The only difficult side is no spinballs , category 1.

I classify no spin balls in 2 categories : first, it is the no spin dead ball with zero rotation. These kind of balls are difficult to deal with . I just move my wrist and activate the ball slightly or I just push the ball - the easiest strategy .

The second one is no spin ball with rotation. With a forward movement of the wrist I can easily place the ball into the empty corner .

So , I will be testing K.O ox in a twiddling game with Palio ck531A.So far, it has been a success.I played with a very good looper and had a very hard time .I won 1 match and my mate another but the match I lost was a close one .

If anybody has any experience with K.O in ox it would be excellent to share it with us .

Btw, there is no K.O Pro in ox , so I assume the speed and more sinking effect will be given by the use of a different sponge . My suspicion is that K.O pro might be regular K:O with the sponge from Agressor .
