Lion Trapper is a new long pimple out rubber that will be published around March 2019. Lion says there will be 2 versions: A regular version with dampening sponge and a Pro version with medium hard sponge. The top-sheet of the Pro version is also better then that of the regular version.
Lion was so nice to send us 2 sample rubbers of the Lion Trapper Pro, so this video is also only about this version. Please note the sponge of the Lion Trapper Pro will have a red colour while in this video it is white.

The Lion Trapper Pro has been newly developed with the following characteristics:
It uses a very tacky, medium hard and elastic rubber compound to make the rubber suitable also for professional players.
The rubber combines a high speed with high control to make it also effective when using ABS plastic balls.
The pimples are thin to increase the wobbling effect and thus make the rubber more dangerous.
The space between the pimples is reduced to increase the grip, which is also important for all kinds of plastic balls.
The Lion Trapper Pro is the best choice for all advanced players who play a modern and very versatile style of Defence.
All strokes and specially undercut balls have a flat and long ball trajectory which is hard to predict. The Lion Trapper Pro also makes it easy to generate own spin specially when chopping, but also passive balls without spin are possible.
