BH: Bomb Talent OX
It is said that Dornenglanz ox is a medium fast pip.I have been testing it with Sword 309 and though it is a def+ I had problems with no spin balls, especially against long pip players.

I came across an old TSP 2.5 balsa fiber glass- Fitter series-. It is a very thin slow blade with a big sweet spot.I like light blades and , voilĂ ,I was able to block even shorter, lower and the control is maximum .

If anyone uses or have used Tsp 2.5, maybe they will say something interesting or completely disagree with me . Any views on this will be helpful . Thank you . :)

I have the similar tsp black balsa 3,these are great blades for ox lp,the control is outstanding and there is no speeding up of the lp when you have a fast forehand rubber unlike my DefPlay where the t05 speeds up the ox lp which is why I switched to the Tsp blade.I don't have a problem keeping blocks low and short even straight off the bounce which is more effective, however the flex on the thin blade (4.3mm)sometimes makes hard top spins unpredictable and the throw is high for these shots.I dropped the sponge thickness to 1.7 which lessened the dwell and has done ok for me, could probably do with something as spinny as t05 with lower dwell time to progress,I have seen a high level player using this blade to good effect and know what the blade is capable of which makes me persevere

" I dropped the sponge thickness to 1.7 which lessened the dwell and ...."

Well, I use a 1.2 mm sponge on the FH.I win 98% of the points with my BH. I do not loop.Maybe ,the 1.2 mm sponge helps the ox pip with the hard topspins , I don't know.On hard topspins the ball lands gracefully at the corners or on the line, sometimes, mid distance ..... Yes, it is on those megasuper strong topspins when the throw is a bit higher than usual( but with the right technique,it should not be scandalously high) ,however, the main point is to land the ball on the table,if a new stronger loop is on the way, then I twiddle and block with 1.2 mm sponge .
