I'm a defensive player and I'd like to know if it's a hard or soft blade, and my game is blocking the table.

I have been blocking with LP for a long time and there is nothing like a Balsa blade for the LP blocking game. The core is soft (balsa) but the outer cores are fairly hard.. The feel of the blade is fairly soft though.. I use Dr. Neubauer Firewall Plus for 7 years now..

I use a XVT balsa carbon which is 10mm thick. It gives extra blocking absorbtion.

My game is close to the table and blocking with OX Dtechs.
I have tried lots of defensive blades over many years and settled with Tibhar defence plus,
which is fairly cheap.
