I'm starting to use long picks without a sponge.

I have tried several, all of them glued with adhesive film and I have verified the following situation.

When the rubber is thin (for example Dawei 388 D-1) the rubber is detached from the adhesive film, especially in the area where I place my index finger when performing the serve. Bubbles are formed.

This behavior does not occur with thicker rubbers such as Donic Piranja, Kamikaze or Grass.

This is normal?
What I can do?

My favorite rubber is the Dawei 388 D1 but for this situation iI am thinking in do not use.

I suppose this happens because the rubber is very thin. There is rubber similar to the Dawei 388 D1 but they are a little thicker so that they don't come off so quickly

The glue sheet is not an advantage for pips in ox, rather, it does more harm than good.In my experience the glue sheet reduces control and the reversal is diminished.

It is not just the bubbles , it is the fact that the LP performance is worse.

Are you using a glue sheet that's already attached to the LP, or do you attach it with a glue sheet yourself?
In case you didn't know, some (most?) of the glue sheets you buy separately have one side that's sticker (stronger) than the other. The stronger side should attach to the LP.

I always use Dtecs with comes with a glue sheet already attached. I'm convinced it makes no difference for this rubber, and it doesn't really come off, unless it's been on there for a very long time.

I use external glue sheet (butterfly).
I know that a side is for attach the blade and the other side is for attach the rubber.
This problem only happens with thin long pips 0X as Dawei 388D1 or Bomb Talent. With other LP 0X as Kamikaze, Grass, Piranja, Curl p1r,... is OK.

I use 388d ox with Gewo clean stick glue sheet and no problems with the rubber bubbling or detaching,Contra sells these,I feel the glue sheet helps when push blocking and adds a little control and still plenty of passive reversal. This glue sheet has a stickier side with instructions of which way to stick.
