Hello!

I'm playing with Desperado 2 - I'm buying OX sheets to glue them onto my 1.5 dampening sponge and results are fantastic :D - a lot of wobbly balls or diving attacks with very good chop potential. The only problem is, that I need new sheet every 3-4 weeks, pips are going out very fast. :headbang: Is there any other pip that plays similar but it's not so short-living?

+ 1.5 Spinlord Gigant sponge

Desperado 2 is a medium grip, medium speed long pimple and there should be many other pips that play similarly. It’s been a while since I’ve used D2 but from memory it was similar to rasant chaos. 755 has excellent durability but has more grip then D2. Stay away from Desperado reloaded, it has even worse durability then D2.

Hard pips for hitting...... softer pips will eventually break off sooner than usual ..... DG becomes way softer with time and the pips start breaking at the base ......

Feuerstich by Spinlord is very good for active play...... the reason why it is sold only in OX is due to the fact that with sponge the durability is worse......

Zeitgeist by Spinlord has hard pips...... suitable for hitting and the durability is ok .However,You will push
far , far worse with hard pips .

Usually there s always a trade off. You get more sink and features competition doesnt have but I dont know if they do it on purpose.

I know a guy with very worn saviga V LP and gives a lot of trouble but it last a lot.
