I only managed to watch the first vid, but I actually thought it was better than most of the other ones...had some really nice rallies in there.

Fun match :D . I think you should have called an umpire to fault this guy's serve. His toss was not "near vertical" therefore it would be a fault. This could have flustered him, bigtime, because many of his tosses were like that.

Boring? Well for the most part, yes. However, there were periods where one or both of you got sick of pushing and pressed the attack. That was fun to watch. Good tactics. I can only afford $50 a tourney, which gets me 10 matches tops. I try to practice and rally for 3-4 hours during matchday to get some practice as I never get any during my weekly drive to Texas for a few matches once a week. I look forward to each tourney as I get to go all out all day long and leave it all out on the court.

well of course the pushing rallies weren't that exciting, but when you actually attacked there were some good shots on both ends 8)

I paid $45 entry fee + $8 rating fee, maybe = $53 for 3 event and I got $40 :D from 2nd place U2150. At the end I paid $13, gallons of sweat and 125 ml speed glue!
Dang! Should have won the U2150.....$80  !!!
BTW. I see how to improve my game.....and I know why some ppl really hate to play VS LP.

Texas Wesleyan upped the ante so that $50 gets you into only two events, like U2200 and U1800. I like playing in 4 events and doing a ton of matches. I usually end up out of twice that in fuel/driving costs. Still OK to do once a month. If I was in DC area, there would be almost a rated tourney every week within 25 miles. It looks like I get to miss the sanctioned ones in July, but everyone there still meets and plays/trains, so it should be good. You can even take your video camera and post how you crush me in match play, but I will still fight well for my level and I will still play/train full throttle all day and be ready the next day to do it again.
