Yes, I agree.... it always seems to come and go, like waves... it probably has something to do with comp seasons? Or perhaps nearing the end of school term, so people are studying or are having exams?

Yeah Der Echte its me, but this thread has been one of the fastest I've seen.

I've not seen a Bryce thread for ages and it is beginning to worry me, I use to cringe of the sight of 'which is spinner?' threads.....

I'll take that one back I've just posted on one of those 'which is spinnier' on DTTW only this time Der Echte challenged me to a game of tt claiming Der Echte would lose!

Thats really funny, Der Echte tells great jokes.

It sounds like I've got some sort of identity crisis.

It is defineately NOT you Mathias. Stuff has been slow about everywhere for a good part of the year. There just needs to be some good ideas or even rediculously absurd ones to prompt posts. I could start claiming that I an a double-agent dark side paddle carrying secret agent sying on Hallmark and make unreal observations, claiming them to be preproduction factory product photos or something. OR I could pull a Speedplay road to TT fame number and get really off the wall. In the end, my initiative will only carry so far, but would be good for about half a laugh.

Speedplay is famous I agree. I mean Speedplay even has a frictionless stroke named after him, informal though the name may be - Speedplay turn

I just heard that Bryce FX Speed was about to be released. Oh no.... that will spark a new wave of Bryce threads.... I'll tell you what the threads will ask right now...'which is better Bryce FX or Bryce FX Speed'. Then we'll get a poster claiming that Bryce FX Speed is the best rubber ever used by all the pros... I prefer the Hallmark double agent stuff, much more realistic.

I couldn't pull it off using my Der_Echte name. Gonna hafta think of a good name. How about I start a thread asking for members to suggest an alternate screen name that I could use to go on DTTW and other forums to subvert/give false info on the impact of the ban on the production of new darkside and inverted rubbers. It would take a week or so of posting to establish some darkside credability then I could start "leaking" false info on some new products. Heck, some company in Germany sold out millions of a diet drink doing stuff like that. It is how marketing is made. Anyway, it would be wicked fun and would at least drive up post counts. Major Corperations around the world use false news to draw attention to their products! Heck, ole Dr. Neubauer ought to pay me for helping him expand the TT equipment market and I should be making the distributors happy as well.

Discussion to be continued..... Screen name hmmm... 007 perhaps? Austin Powers maybe? Jonny English ? If you really wanted to upset someone Speedway would cause a few waves (you'll find out soon enough why). Dunno needs to be thought about some more.

How about saying Neubauer is to enter the next Olympics? Or Neubauers next rubber will be called 'SuperGran' - no that wouldn't work. You'd need to start talking about a new Bryce FX rubber - its the only thing that will get everyone talking. Needs more ideas.

A great new BTY product to release would be Bryce FX Kenn (unglued of coure). That would be quite cool, all the old forum users would know the joke straight away.

One idea would be to discuss 'the new Bryce FX'

The other person will respond yes 'its Bryce FX Kenn (unglued)'

The first person 'oh yes I remember now' I heard it was the fastest unglued rubber ever to be produced'

and so the thread will snowball .... until a mod eventually realizes .... but they might let the thread fly.

Trouble is you'd then get people asking for rubber advise and someone would respond ..'you could try Bryce FX Kenn, simply amazing'

Matthias, you saw what happened last time at DTTW we all tried something that blatant.

No, this operation must be permormed at a much higher level of patience, deceipt, and bullshitting. We just gotta take our time to set the stage very discretely. Heck, maybe several of us could work together on this using different names and different backgrounds. One could be the antagonizor, (Who wants that one?) one could be the troubleshooter, one could act like a newb who asks newb questions about the changes. One could be an advice giver.

We would have to prepare the identities for at least a month or two and build up a few post counts and establish our new characters.

This one has much potential to become one of the biggest face jobs on a TT forum. We got a ton of people ripe for the discussion at DTTW.
