Wow! Why dont you use p1r instead of bomb talent? P1r is much better if you can bring out the best of it. After all, p1r 0.5 is probably going to be good for you.

I heard that FL3 has an anti soft sponge underneath, which kills any incoming spin from my opponent

I don't know what an "anti soft sponge" is. FL3 does have a soft sponge, but it is very responsive to spin. When I went from Dornenglanz to FL3, the difference was absolutely huge.

On the other hand, I found that I could play aggressive shots with FL3 and treat it almost as a SP or inverted.

A two-edge sword... it's possible to generate your own spin, which gives you a tactical advantage against most people's anti-LP game. On the other hand, it's much harder to use, and requires a much better reading and handling of spin.

Spot on description LC.

FL3 has a butter soft sponge. Traditionally, antis had a butter soft energy absorbing sponge and I think that's what the OP is referring to. But just like you said, soft sponge gave the LP a lot of grip making it play SP-ish.

what about FL2? I have played to a pushblocker with very nasty returns the FL2 was a little dark red could be old shet or treated because i think FL is not tricky lp and this guy was playing like a frictionless lp

jusr wanna know if its normal that FL2 gives trouble and i ve played agaisnt curl and grass and can read the spin

Sounds like it could be frictionless, yeah. Baked, perhaps.

FL2 is a "bog standard" LP. It's a "jack of all trades", e.g. good at everything but not brilliant at anything. It has OK reversal, OK generation of spin, etc.

I have played with curl octopus feint 2 feint 3 all in 0,5.
Nog I play with feint 2 ox.
It chops with more control then the other pimples.
I can give enough backspin to make it difficult for the other player.
But above all that ,you can attack and block with it.
And the feint can indeed be tricky.
Not when its new but when its A little worn off.

i m used to plays against grass curlp1 and this suspicious FL2 gives more trouble and he loops like short pips with strange flight path

So glad I stumbled across this thread.
I have just decided I need to get FL2 as it's what I have tried and naturally paired well with my chop technique it seems.
I was just curious the direct comparison with FL3 and after reading all this I feel FL2 is still going to be better. Curious if anyone has tried these on the VKMO or JSH though. I tried on the regular VKM with 1.0 and it was superb control, wondering if still get the control with the more offensive blades

The VKM has more "control" (I'm putting that word in quotes because "control" is subjective) in terms of the fact that it is slower, flexier and softer. The VKMO and JSH are harder, stiffer, and faster as you may already know. Some people may actually think that the JSH and VKMO have more control, I dunno. Me personally, I found the VKMO pretty uncontrollable at first, but it's much more controllable now.

I tried FL3 on a JSH. Caveat, I generally feel like the JSH is hard to control. The reason I wanted to use FL3 was because it was slower. FL2, I have tried on other people's blades, but never purchased it myself. I think FL3 is grippier because of the sponge and harder for me to control because I had to match incoming spin on every chop. It was more like chopping with SPs in some ways, but with fewer consequences. On the other side it had far more consequences than most other LPs because of the grip.

If you don't read the spin with every shot, FL3 will be awful. If you really read the spin and adjust your chop to the incoming spin then you might light it more because you can manipulate it more. I don't think I had the skills to use it against anyone over 1700. Against lower level people, it is better because their spin is a lot less, and you can add a lot more spin with every chop compared to other pips.
