In intermediate level subforums, the listed order of sections varies.
It seems that on the second level (first sublevel), topics are listed first, then subforums.
When there are four levels, the third level list subforums first, then topics.

I must say I prefer the latter, where subforums are listed first. May be a matter of habit, but to me it's a practical issue when there are many threads (subjects). The list of subforums is limited, so scrolling past it to get to the subject list is less of a problem.

This should be easily changed (I have no intimate knowledge of phpBB, but can't imagine that it would be a problem).
So what do you think? Current setup OK, room for improvement, or am I missing something?

Do you mean that in the section that have sub-forums, the subforums should be listed at the bottom not the top?

No, I like the subforums at the top, which they are in some places but not all. See the two links in the initial post. (Both of the linked forum listings have subforums.)

Ahhh I see what you mean now.

TO be honest, I never click on those major catagories at all, I always just click on the section that I'm interested in, so I've never noticed it. I'll see if there are any options to change it.

I tend to mostly use the "View Active Topics", so I don't need to click on the sections at all.

There seems to be no easy way to fix it, although if i was a programmer I'm sure it would be quite easy.
