Because they are often related, it might also be an option to merge inverted chopping and LP chopping and create one "Chopping" subsection?

Yes you're right they have a lot in common, but they also have some very unique aspects. I think it's ok to split them for now to see how much discussion we get on the unique aspects... we can always merge them later.

Wouldn't it also be better to merge the two antispin techniques, in order to avoid excessive fragmenting?

To someone that plays with one or the other, it may be very different. I think the frictionless is usually played close-in and uses spin reversal very much like LP OX close in. The friction anti can be effective from anywhere but the strokes can be quite different. Again I think we should probably see how it goes, and merge if necessary.
I'm currently only creating a new section if someone puts their hand up to look after it... so if we don't get volunteers for any one section, we could merge it with the most closely related section. Does that sound reasonable?

I'll do the rest of the inverted sections if no-one else wants them ......

Awesome, thank you!   Do you think they should stay as they are, or some of them merged?

Probably separate, as now I reckon. Allrounders will use all of these techniques, but there will be choppers that never loop and vice versa.

Should there be a section on serving ?

I think that's actually a very good idea! I'll add it to the list.

I'm not sure if there would be enough interest to create a hardbat techniques section, as pretty much all users have some combination of inverted/LP.

It's a good thought, but we've already got a hardbat section, which does not have a lot of activity. :(

I've updated the list above.

We have a few more moderator positions / sections left, namely the 2 anti-spin and the Serving section. Perhaps there may be other ideas for further sections as well?

Well, there's not much activity on the antispin one.
I can take care of that, if you wish.
