OOAK Table Tennis Forum

I saw in the User Control Panel that there was an option to change the colour sceme of the forum, but there were no other options.

Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have multiple colours available? I don't personally like the current colour of it, and would be partial to a more orange kind of look.

I actually like the current colour scheme... very easy to read and looks quite professional. Would be interesting to hear what others think though

I like it too; I agree that it looks professional and the current layout is easy to read, and should be friendly to those people who are color blind. I'm not, but it's always imporant to keep in mind that people who are color blind are coming to your site, so you want to have something that they will be able to read as well.

I think what VincentB is trying to say is having other color schemes available for selection; I think it's possible in this forum software, default being this silver-gray combination. Changing the color scheme in your profile would not affect any other's viewing except your own.

Yes I see what you're saying...

The only trouble is that I've modified the current style quite a bit, to make it look the way it does. By adding other styles, I would have to modify those as well, or things may not look right...

Well, that's fair enough HaggisV.
Yeah, that was exactly what I was trying to say, about having other ones available for selection, but the current one still being the default.
What changes have you made that you have to make to a different theme HaggisV?

it's not just the visual side of things... it's mods I've made to customise the forum, and they would need to made made for the other style as well. For the visual side of things, it's the bars with OOAK symbols and a few other cosmetic things... can't remembr all the mods I've mad, which is part of the problem

I'll keep it in mind though, see if there is an aeasy fix... it may be easier than I think...

Well, how about from the link I've given above, you try to install one of the themes and see how it turns out?

I've messed around with this on a test forum...it does not work well without putting in some effort (by me ) to modify it. For example none of the stuff in the header will show up... the current logo icons we designed to suit the chosen style... they do not match well with other ones unless they're modified...
