So, I switching to SP from LP, mainly because I have the urge to be more aggressive and active and dont play to my opponents mistakes.

I´ve once used Raystorm 2.1mm in black, and despite it was easy to use, it almost felt like an inverted :S

Im going to use it on my T-11+´s BH, and in Red. I mainly want to attack EVERY ball, so I really want it to have the ability to hit through backspin balls.

Reading and reading, I´ve found that I should get a vertically aligned non grippy pip, with a 1.8mm (or 1.5mm) not soft sponge. Am I right?

Im considering getting from zeropong RITC 802 1.8mm RED, everyone agrees?

Thx :D

The vertical-horizonal thing is very over rated! Is there a difference yes, does it mean your not going to be able to play with a certain rubber because of the pips alignment-you're kidding yourself....

I agree with this. The difference between vertical and horizontal alignment are less noticeable than the difference between the shape, size, and the hardness of the pimples. But I think it's also depend on one's playing style and taste.

Friendship 802 - 1 is made for chopping and hitting. 802-1 is slightly slower than 802.
In general, vertical aligned pips are for defensive and attacking style; whereas, horizontal aligned pips are intended for defensive style of chopping.

if you are pen (hold) then you should play with horizontal

This is I would partially buy because of the bat head being down-still TSP Spectol was a trapaziodal pip and it never hurt those penholders much, but for a topspin drive stroke for a pips out attacker (of the world class level) I can see it...more.
