What are the Softer Chinese short pips????? Talking not only the sponge but also the top sheet...

I'm looking for something similar to Japanese and European short pips (Super Spinpips, Spectol, Royal, Speede soft....) I have tried 802-40 Mystery sponge and are too hard....

Friendship 799 is much softer than 802-40. Some call this rubber a medium pip, But I think it is a soft, thin pip, and tall for a SP but not as tall as a MP. A very nice rubber.

If Double Fish is a chinese brand then Double Fish 1615 is a soft one :)

1615 is a long pips not a short one, isn't true?

I find that Chinese pip topsheets do tend to be a fair bit harder due to them being cooked pips (zheng jiao), if you lean slightly towards medium or raw pip (sheng jiao), you'll find the pips being much softer.

For example, 802, 802-40, 802-1, 889, 852 all seem a tad harder to me than 888 or Zava

Friendship Legend 105 is similar to 799 but much faster with a very soft light green sponge.
