I am a classic defender, and I would like you to tell me which rubber or rubber with short pips are ideal for blocking, control and distortion. My attacks are sporadic, since my game is based more on control.
I have seen several short pips, but they are attack ones.
I am aware that short pips are for attacking, but I am sure that there will be more oriented to the defender, who wants to launch attacks very from time to time.
Thank you all.

Are you looking for short pips for FH or BH? What blade do you have? Do you use long pips on BH?

Spinlord Degu could be what you are looking for, nice control, some distortion, ok for attacks. Victas S (used to be TSP Spectol) is another one or D (used to be TSP Spinpips) may work. These last two ones comes with different sponges. Also der Materialspezialist Firestorm is a good FH short pip but more oriented to attacking.

I use long spikes on the Mathusita Defensive for the BH, and I want short spikes on the FH, being a classic defender I take for granted that the thickness of the rubber has to be the lowest, to make a better blocking, on the rubber bands. long spikes that you have recommended to me.
