Imagine that a blader has a vertical axis. Backwards playing with short pips rubber (vertical alignment, tsp spectol speed) which would be the angle of the blade to the table so that the pips were most effective? 0 degrees? 45 degrees? 90 degrees? |

This post is definitely useful. From my experience, alignment of the pips does not seriously affect the characteristics of the ball. The size, shape, and the spacing of the pips affect more. I am impressed by the Japanese professional report of those newly SPs. I can conclude that Xtend PO, TIBHAR SPEEDY SOFT, and BAXSTER F1A are the same category of SP with less spin, direct ball trajectory. |

One of the most useful post I've ever seen. What has changed in sp use after the new ball? |

With both the 40+ ball and the Mima Ito phenomenon sparking renewed interest in short pips, I wanted to bump this thread for people who may not be familiar with it. |
