I hear these rubbers are both very hard and fast. I personally actually use Spectol 21, and know that it is very fast, produces enough but not much spin and is great for driving/smashing. How about the Flarestorm II?

I have never sued a butterfly product before so i'm wondering. I'm actually going to try Raystorm very soon, i already have the Rubber. And some say the flarestorm may be better then raystorm so i want your opinion on the rubbers.

What's spin if you can't reach the ball?

The Spectol 21 is actually quite soft, the spectol speed is the one with the hard sponge.

The Flarestorm II has the softest sponge I have played with.
I think it is better to play with Raystorm.
It is harder but quite soft.

I have played with Raystorm for 3 years.
Great rubber.
Now I am playing with Flarestorm. It has a much harder sponge.

Speed Sponge is good.
But no SP rubber has the spin of the Ray- or Flarestorm rubbers.

Isn't Flarestorm II faster than Flarestorm? At least on the Butterfly official website it says that. If it's softer doesn't that just mean it's got more spin?

Bumping this thread because nobody has actually compared Flarestorm 2 with Spectol 21. Can anybody make a comparison?
